Functional properties of the dietary supplement Voger® are due to the physiological activity of the biologically active substances contained in its active ingredients: fatty acids, phytosterols, cucurbitin, and fatty oil, zinc, hypoxoside, aglycone, and rooperol, vitamins (K, C, B2, B3, carotenoids), chlorophyll, tannins, organic acids, flavonoids, macro- and microelements (Si, Fe, Ca, Cu, K, Mn, B, Ti, Ni), pentacyclic triterpenes, n-docosanol, and tetracosanol.
The biologically active substances contained in the active ingredients of Voger® may reduce negative changes in the prostate gland, which are accompanied by frequent urges to urinate, especially at night, weak or intermittent urination, the feeling of incomplete bladder emptying, and discomfort. Voger® contains biologically active substances that may support the health of the prostate gland and the urinary system in men.
Saw Palmetto fruit extract (Serenoa repens) contains 45% fatty acids and phytosterols. Saw Palmetto improves urinary symptoms, symptom scores, and urine flow rates on the IPSS scale. It may help block 5-α-reductase and inhibit the binding of dihydrotestosterone to prostate receptors. The antiproliferative effect is due to the inhibition of 5-α-reductase enzyme activity.
Saw Palmetto fruit extract is a plant-based remedy that may help suppress the development of swelling and inflammation in the prostate.
Pumpkin seed extract (Cucurbita moschata) contains the amino compound cucurbitin and fatty oils, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Consumption of pumpkin products may be associated with a reduction in prostate volume and improvement in the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) and quality of life (QoL). Pumpkin seeds are also a potent source of zinc, which plays an important role in the functioning of the male genitourinary system and may support enhanced sexual function and normalization of prostate function.
African potato tuber extract (Hypoxis hemerocallidea) may enhance the effects of Saw Palmetto. The rhizome of the African potato (Hypoxis hemerocallidea) is known for its traditional use in symptoms of the lower urinary tract.
Nettle root extract (Urtica dioica) contains a complex of biologically active compounds, including vitamins (K, C, B2, B3, carotenoids), chlorophyll, tannins, organic acids, flavonoids, macro- and microelements (Si, Fe, Ca, Cu, K, Mn, B, Ti, Ni).
Nettle root extract may help reduce prostate swelling. It improves scores on the IPSS and QoL scales, and also increases maximum urine flow rate and reduces prostate volume.
African plum bark extract (Prunus africana) contains a number of biologically active substances (phytosterols, pentacyclic triterpenes, n-docosanol, and tetracosanol), which have anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous properties due to the inhibition of prostaglandin production and the reduction of prolactin levels in the prostate gland.
Rye pollen (Secale cereale) has a range of effects, including the relaxation of the smooth muscles of the urethra and bladder. Additional effects include anti-inflammatory and antiproliferative actions in the epithelial cells of the prostate. Rye pollen may help reduce spasms, thereby normalizing urination.
Recommendations for use: It is recommended as a dietary supplement as an additional source of biologically active substances and fatty acids to normalize the functional state of the prostate gland and the urinary system in men.
