3,3′-Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a phytonutrient and plant indole found in cruciferous vegetables, including broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and cabbage, with potential anti-androgenic and antiproliferative activities.
3,3′-Diindolylmethane is also consumed to reduce hot flash symptoms during menopause and to relieve premenstrual syndrome (PMS) manifestations.
Vitex agnus-castus fruit extract contains flavonoids, essential oils, diterpenes, and glycosides, which may influence estrogen receptors and inhibit the secretion and release of prolactin.
By reducing prolactin hormone levels, Vitex agnus-castus fruit extract helps restore hormonal balance (estrogen and progesterone), thereby alleviating symptoms of PMS, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and latent hyperprolactinemia.
Additionally, the use of Vitex agnus-castus fruit extract may help reduce cyclic mastalgia.
Green tea leaf extract (Camellia sinensis) contains polyphenols, which have health benefits such as reducing inflammation. It also contains catechin called Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) – one of the most potent compounds in green tea.
Lycopene is a pigment from the carotenoid family with antioxidant properties.
